St-Zenon-Lanaudiere-Ice Fishing Village

St-Zenon Quebec is celebrating winter on Lake St Louis , and the whole village is there! They are ice fishing, snowmobiling, skating, and eating hot dogs with cold beer! They have organized a series of events and parties all centered around a new ice fishing village on the lake. Hundreds are enjoying the festivities every weekend. This is an annual program to enjoy the great outdoors in the winter months, and has turned out to be a streaming success for a town that has suffered an economic downturn caused by the flagging lumber industry and the weak American dollar.
